Not a real metamorphosis
One should have a reason for naming his record “Metamorphosis,” and fans have every right to expect a radical change in style from that title. But change is nowhere to be found in Tarkan's first Turkish release since 2001. He uses the same catchy choruses and catchy lines in his songs, even though there is a slight improvement in production, which is familiar to listeners of American pop. His vocal performance and star presence are here as well, adding a touch of quality to the album, which is still quite acceptable for Turkish pop standards.
