Tarkan was shocked by the interest of the Afghan air hostesses.

Megastar Tarkan was in the USA for some time off with his girlfriend Bilge Ozturk.
On his arrival at the Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, he was welcomed by his fans. He had a conversation with the Afghan girls and let them and other fans take pictures of him.
Tarkan answered the questions of the reporters as followed “I’ve worked so hard the past months, it was just like i had started to live in the studio. Actually the Album was ready for this summer, but like you know already, this summer was a bit too chaotic to my opinion, including the election. That’s why i’d decided to escape the trouble and go on holiday.”
He declared that he had new projects coming on the way. “but everything depends on the album, the Harbiye concerts took off with Ajda this year. But I wasn’t able to make my album ready for this summer and I also didn’t want to perform with my old songs. We have amazing artists on Harbiye this year, and yes there is a possibility that i’m gonna watch some of the shows myself.
Tarkan also said that he’d be glad to help Sezen Aksu who decided to move to the USA. “I’ve been 15 years in this business for now. I grew up with my fans. I was only 18 when i’ve started to perform, now im 35. So it takes time to let people appreciate you.” Was his respons to a question about the Harry Potter crew not being recognised in some countries.
He was very friendly to some Afghan air hostesses who wanted to take pictures with him. He didn’t ignore their requests and took pictures with the girls. When he learned about the ethnicity of the hostesses Tarkan responded very amazed. He asked the girls “ so you know me, you know who I am?” The hostesses answered him back in Turkish “Yeah.. we know you very well, you are very famous and we love you alot too.”
The reporters asked Tarkan if he’d want to perform in Afghanistan some dat, and he said that he got many offers to perform in Irak and in afganistan, but those two are difficult places. We have to take alot of security preventions. Let’s hang out here, it’s fine in Turkey. But i have to say that i want to dress in those arabian dresses and dance with the crowd.
